COUNCILOR TRENT MOVED, SECONDED BY COUNCILOR ANZELINI, TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED..motion PASSED...7-0.
2. Comments by the Public on Non Agenda Items
Trevor Westlund, Centralia, addressed the Council and noted his concern to the zoning restrictions for curbs, gutters and sidewalks.
Johanna Jones, LC Historical Museum, addressed the Council and spoke on upcoming events and fundraisers.
Ron Averill, Lewis County Commissioner, addressed the Council and spoke on the E 911 program and encouraged everyone to register their cell phone numbers.
Jason Baker, addressed the Council and updated them on the Hub City Community Garden project.
Melissa Taylor, Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments, addressed the Council and invited them to attend the Economic & Fiscal Health Workshop.

b. Southwest Washington Fair Update - Gale Sobolesky
Ms. Sobolesky and Michael Strozek updated the Council on the upcoming fair to be held August 14 - 19, 2012.
4. Reports
Councilor Anzelini - reported he attended the Civil war Re-enactment, spoke on the budget process and noted he agreed with prior citizen speaker Trevor Westlund.
Councilor Fund - reported she attended the Chehalis Basin Flood Authority meeting and announced an upcoming fundraiser for Chamber Director Jim Valley, a showing of the Jerk at the Fox Theatre on Friday at 7:00 pm.
Mayor Pro-Tem Coumbs - spoke on potential combination of more fire districts to the Fire Authority.
Councilor Bates - spoke on the Dave Sherwood Memorial Fund for scholarships and that Centralia College was named the best in the State for graduation rate.
Councilor Henderson - spoke on the Boots to Books fundraiser and the upcoming monument it will fund, the upcoming Veteran's Center coming to Centralia College and noted that he is proud of our community.
Councilor Trent - reported he attended the Civil War re-enactment and reminded everyone to vote. He added that he agreed with prior citizen speaker Trevor Westlund.
Mayor Canaday - reported she attended Business After Hours at the Riverside Golf Course, STP, Lakefair and the RFA meeting.
Rob Hill - reported that the draft report on alternative projects for flood reduction was on the City website and a budget workshop would be set soon.
