Russell Road and Fieldcrest Area Annexation

On June 28th the City Council approved the annexation of the Russell Road and Fieldcrest Areas. It is our pleasure to welcome these citizens into the City of Centralia. This annexation becomes effective on July 6, 2011.

As part of the annexation process the State of Washington requires that we conduct a census of all housing units. The only information required in this census is the names of the individuals residing in your home. The information you provide will be  held strictly confidential. Participating in the census ensures that the City of Centralia will receive a full share of state funds allotted for essential public services.

Your home will be visited by a census worker wearing a florescent vest and identification badge sometime between the dates of July 6, 2011 and July 18, 2011. You can also provide your census information at any time by calling the Centralia Census Hotline at (800) 635-6594. The Census Hotline is available 24 hours a day.

Common questions about the changes you can expect are discussed below. We invite you to explore our city website. Please feel free to contact us directly at (360) 330-7695 if you have questions or concerns regarding City services or the annexation process.

Again, we warmly welcome you to the City of Centralia and encourage you to fully participate in the annexation process.

Mayor, City of Centralia
