  Summa Street Road Closures

Centralia City Light is coordinating a railroad bore project located between South Tower Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue on Summa Street.  This project involves 100 feet of boring under BNSF Railroad right-of-way, trenching on the east and west side of the tracks, and setting two large vaults.  There are two main line railroad tracks at this location that are used by both freight and passenger trains.

Due to this project, Summa Street right-of-way will be closed between South Tower Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue from Tuesday, August 30, 2016 to Friday, September 30, 2016.  During this time, the parallel alley east of South Tower that enters the work zone will also be closed.

Detour routes and signage will be present.  Please take alternate routes to avoid the road closure whenever possible and drive with caution in this area.  Please contact Curtis Roe at Centralia City Light 360-330-7512 with questions about this project.
