Public Access to City Buildings
On June 19, 2020, Lewis County was approved to move to Phase 3 of the Governor’s Safe Start Washington – Phased Reopening plan. Activities included in Phase 3 are allowances of gatherings with no more than 50 people and customer-facing government services.
Effective 8:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2020 City buildings will reopen for public access. The public will be required to practice six-foot social distancing and wear masks in all City buildings. Signs will be posted at the entrance of all City buildings. Before entering any City building, the public must review the symptoms listed on the sign and if you have experienced any of the symptoms in the previous 72 hours or if you have a medical reason for not wearing a mask, then you may not enter the building. A phone number is provided on the sign for you to call and discuss options of how we are able to assist you.
