  Ham Hill Chip Sealing

The City of Centralia Street Department has contracted with Lewis County to chip seal Ham Hill Road from N. Gold Street to the City Limits. This work will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2018 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weather permitting. If weather is not cooperative the project will be rescheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Signs will be posted in construction areas and traffic speed will be reduced to 20 mph. Additionally, flaggers will be used in areas where work is underway to direct or move vehicles through the project areas safely. Maximum delays will be less than 10 minutes. The City of Centralia and Lewis County are committed to reducing the impact to businesses, residents, and visitors. We apologize for any inconvenience from this project and strive to reduce wait times to a minimum for all users. The benefit is protection of the existing road surface, saving us from more expensive road replacement in the near future.

These are your Transportation Benefit dollars at work. Thank you for making repairs of our streets a priority by supporting the Centralia Transportation Benefit Funding Program. Please contact Public Works Director, Kim Ashmore, at 360-330-7512 or email kashmore@cityofcentralia.com if you have questions or comments regarding this project.
