  Wheeler Baseball Field

Wheeler Field
Wheeler Field

Location:  Borst Park - 500 Pioneer Way - West of Borst Park - Wheeler Field

Description:  Part of Fort Borst Park's athletic facilities, the field was built in 1959.

It is used as the home field for the Centralia College Blazers, the Centralia High School Tigers, and the Centralia American Legion and Babe Ruth Programs.

The field was renamed for Ed Wheeler, who volunteered countless hours to the facility. Spectators can watch the games from approximately 500 refurbished bleachers that came from the Seattle King Dome. It is a lighted field with a turf and dirt infield.

Wheeler Field has been the home of many exciting baseball games. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the famous "Wheeler Burger" served at all home games.
