Welcome to the City of Centralia Parks and Recreation Department.  Our administration office is located on the 2nd floor at City Hall at 118 West Maple with hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Parks and Recreation Department provides a broad range of recreational programs, classes and fun opportunities through our park system and public facilities.  For information on Centralia's parks and recreation programs, call (360) 330-7688. 


FACILITY RENTALS

Facility Rental Information - get details on rental procedures, fees, amenities, availability and more for both our indoor and outdoor facilities.

Indoor Facilities - Borst Park Kitchen #1, Borst Park Kitchen #2 and the Historic Train Depot Multi-Purpose Room are available to rent year round.

Outdoor Facilities - One large and two small picnic shelters are available to rent at Borst Park and two small shelters are available to rent at Riverside Park during the months of May through September.  You may also reserve an area of Borst, Riverside or Washington Park for a special event.

Save the Historic Borst Blockhouse
Learn about the Borst Park Blockhouse and be a part of preserving it - learn its history, see images, donate to its restoration.


RECREATION PROGRAMS - Register online for any of the following programs and activities:

  • Tennis Camp - a week long camp on June 26-30 for 4th-6th graders and 7th-12th graders.
  • Minecraft Party - two hours of Minecraft fun on Friday, July 7.
  • Valley View Health Center C to C Bike Ride - pedal from C (Centralia) to C (Chehalis) on the morning of Saturday, July 22.  Includes pizza, games, giveaways and lots of prizes.  Don't miss this fun family favorite!
  • Dance Camps - for ages 3 to 12 this summer at the Southwest Washington Dance Center. 
  • Arts in the Park - art camps for kids in grades K-6th, August 1-3 in Borst Park. 
  • UK Elite Soccer Camps - These summer soccer camps for ages 5-14, will be held July 31-August 4 at Borst Park - flyer with link to register

COMMUNITY SPONSORED PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES 
A number of non-profit community organizations sponsor youth sports and activities in Centralia, such as baseball, softball, soccer, football, wrestling and  more.  While the Centralia Parks & Recreation Department does not sponsor these programs, we are pleased to partner with them to provide registration information, contacts, schedules and website links.  Click for Information on Community Sponsored Programs and Activities
