Your City Drinking Water is Safe
If you are a City of Centralia water customer with a City water meter, your drinking water is safe to drink. Centralia’s drinking water meets all Washington State Department of Health Standards. Nitrate levels in Centralia’s drinking water are well below health concern levels.

About the Fords Prairie Nitrate Plume
A nitrate plume has been found in the Ford Prairie Area (Mayberry Road, Rancho Road, Karla Court)
- The plume affects private wells in the Fords Prairie area, which are under County Jurisdiction. Map *COMING SOON*
- The City of Centralia is working with the County to extend City Water and Wastewater (Sewer) utility services to the affected area through a State funded grant.
