WDFW continues nitrate mitigation measures at the Bob Oke Game Farm. Mitigation measures include: raising fewer birds, raising birds in different locations of the farm (less porous part of the aquifer), planting nitrate-reducing trees, and underground tank repairs.
The city has been funded to extend water and Sewer services through Mayberry, Rancho, and Karla Ct, covering customer-side connection costs.
The city has initiated the design of the utility extension project, which involves locating existing utilities, identifying the right of way, and establishing property corners.
City continues to quarterly sample the Fords Prairie Area for nitrates.
