Public Disclosure Requests

Centralia Police Department now accepts new requests via JustFOIA . JustFOIA is a web-based Records Center used for tracking and delivery of records requests. Select "Public Records Request" to submit a records request. To view requests, you have previously submitted select "Track Status".

Requests may also be submitted by completing the Centralia Police Department Records Request Form in person or submitting a request online. 

The processing of your request or official response to your request may take up to five business days. If your request is not complicated and the record is readily available, it may be processed at the time it is received.

Note: The Public Disclosure Act is for the purpose of providing existing documentation or records, not for the purpose of gathering, sorting, and/or creating new documentation. General questions specific to certain divisions/sections should be directed to appropriate personnel.

Exemptions from Disclosure

The Public Records Act provides that a number of types of documents and/or parts of documents are exempt from public inspection and copying.
