Centralia Police Department now accepts new requests via the Gov QA portal. Gov QA is a web-based Records Center used for tracking and delivery of records requests. Select My Records Center
to log in and/or create an account. To view requests, you have previously submitted select My Issues

Requests may also be submitted by completing the Centralia Police Department Records Request Form and present to the Police Department.
Fees may include fifteen cents per page for photocopies of public records, printed copies of electronic public records, and ten cents per page for public records scanned into an electronic format.
The processing of your request or official response to your request may take up to five business days. If your request is not complicated and the record is readily available, it may be processed at the time it is received.
Note: The Public Disclosure Act is for the purpose of providing existing documentation or records, not for the purpose of gathering, sorting, and/or creating new documentation. General questions specific to certain divisions/sections should be directed to appropriate personnel.
Exemptions from Disclosure
The Public Records Act provides that a number of types of documents and/or parts of documents are exempt from public inspection and copying.
